As the man with sleak glasses entered the cafe with the suitcase, he cleared his throat and looked at the overcast sky, sighing for a long time and pushing on the glass door, which slid comfortably to the side. He set his suitcase upon the bar counter, and sat down on one of the finely produced Hungarian leather stools, drinking on his complimentary water.
As he made a sign of the cross, he breathed in his last breath, and took a small plunger from his hand. As the beautiful Hungarian bartendress in her mid-20's looked at him, her eyes grew large and worried, and the suitcase exploded in a fury of flame, finely produced material, ash, and blood.

"Prime Minister Aero..." Said a young man who entered the Prime Minister's room and shook him awake. As Idalo yawned and turned on his small lamp light, he cracked his neck and sighed. "Yes?" Boomed his powerful voice.
"There has been an attack in Budapest." Said the young man, dreadfully. As he came under the lamp's light, Aero could clearly see that it was none other than his son, Eugen.
"Who?"
"Croats have claimed responsibility...Since 2002, they've had no real government." He handed him several documents. "We've been unable to cooperate with them removing the terrorists who commited the act."
Aero took off his pajamas and slid into some comfortable business pants. He buckled his belt, and slid on a finely imported Italian leather jacket.
"How many dead?" Asked Idalo.
"Close to 20, about 200 injured and another 4 severely hospitalized." He said, and followed his father from the room.
"I want the 1st and 3rd Infantry to the front. Hell, get the 1st Guards on our southwest border, as well."
"What about the air force?" Asked Eugen.
"For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind."

A lone Su-22 Fitter lofted to its hefty altitude of 40,000 feet, careful to avoid any militant Croatian fire from below. Their near 100,000 man military was yet to be on full alert, and Hungary was yet to declare war. By chance, however, Croatia could even now be ready to defend against any Hungarian offense. The Su-22 dropped its large 1,500 pound dumb bombs on a military position in Zagreb and flew home, hoping to achieve a small victory for the Republic - because after this large weapon had hit the ground, Hungary would delcare war.
OOC: I need someone to roleplay as Croatia.

Borislav Jelka awoke from his sleep in the Croatian Military Outpost out Varazdin to the sound of bombs exploding. His first thought was a that they were under attack, which was the accurate thought. He didn't know that, of course, and his second more ignorant thought was that an accident had occured. No sooner had he awoken did he hear the frightened and excited whispers of his comrades in other bunks. Ignoring their banter, he looked outside through a small window; a formality at best, making it seem as if their life was civilized.
His eyes were met with the plume of smoke coming up from an area roughly 3/4 of a mile away. He could smell the smoke from here. A large portion of the base was destroyed in the blast radius. It had to have been an attack.
No sooner had he realized this, a senior officer banged his way into the barracks.
"All of you, get up! Get up and get dressed, this is not a drill! Our base has come under attack, and I'll be damned if it wasn't those bastards to the north." He said savagely.
Numbly, Jelka followed the orders and got dressed and into uniform. The base was going on full alert.

Stjepan MesiƦ was awoken from his quarters at around 3:25 AM. He didn't paticularly appreciate being awoken at this time, and was about to make this perfectly clear when his adjundant began to whisper to him.
"Sir, we've just suffered an attack." He said, perfectly blunt as always. However blunt it happened to be, it didn't fail to get his attention, and to fully wake him up.
Several questions ran through his mind. He decided to use the first one that came to mind, "By whom?"
"Sir, we do not know." The adjundant said, more blunt still.
Who would attack us?, he thought. Several possibilities ran through his mind still, but decided to ask another question, "Where?"
His adjundant's face remained neutral, "A military base near Varazdin. The one near the Hungarian front."
That answers that... he thought grimly. He couldn't win a war, if that was what they were going for. He tried to remain professional, despite the images of being Aero's lap dog running through his head. "This must have to do with that terrorist attack...My god..."
The adjundant coughed politely, "Sir?"
"Put our forces on full alert and send divisions toward the front."
We could already see the new flag being raised over the captial.

As Aero coughed and looked up at the mirror, he could see the beads of sweat and the water dripping from his face, mounting on his chin and plummeting to the floor. He reached for a nearby towel, and folding it with both hands, patted his face dry. He gave a long awaited sigh and looked up at the mirror once again, only to see an image of his country in distress. His heart began to pound like a feet of a race horse, and hands grew warm with anticipation. As he adjusted his coat and tie, the door behind him opened, and a middle-aged man with a large scar across his left cheek walked into the room, popping his head around the corner.
Idalo jumped slightly, but turned around once he saw the man's refelction in the mirror. It was, naturally, General Berayu Lethinski.
"Aero, Janos is answering questions outside...HNBC is ready for you." He said, grimly. The general simply walked out, and left Aero with a clear conscience. As the sun arose over the Hungarian landscape, Idalo walked to the door and pressed on it gently, opening it. He looked behind him and shut out the light, the sun finally peaking into the dusty windows. He closed the door behind him, leaving the handle drenched with sweat.
As his fine leather shoes placed him foot by foot, he entered the long hallway, where at the end he could see a wooden podium with chairs below it. Upon the podium sat many microphones, and the reporters listening to his coming speech would relay it to the world.
Finally, Aero reached the end of the hallway. His jacket hid his sweat nicely, and in front of the audience he appeared a calm and collected leader. Behind them, he was a nervous wreck.
"I would like to thank you all for coming." He said. The reporters acknowledged before he could continue, giving a few "good morning's" and "hello's".
"On January 1st, 1 A.C., the city of Budapest inside of our great nation of Hungary..." he paused, "was deliberately attacked by an armed militant from the nation of Croatia." He finished. The room began to turn into a roar of voices, but he extended his hand, and the reporters silenced, eager to hear his speech.
"The nation of Hungary, Janos Pal, Jakob Wlaydysaw, Marton Imre and Balazs Peter all tried to communicate with the Croatian government, but was promptly refused an audience as to why this act of terror was commited. Therefore, it is within express justification that Hungary; in defense of its freedoms as a republic; that I ask the parliamentary committee to declare unrestricted warfare against the nation of Croatia." He said. The reporters began to speak, but were stifled by Aero's speech.
"I have consulted with General Lethenski, and the nation of Hungary will use all necessary measures to support freedom, and defend peace in the Balkans. In the next week, the entirey of our armed air forces save training and personal helicopter aircraft will engage any and all Croatian military targets present in the country, in a large scale plan called Operation Silver Harpoon. The Hungarian nation will refuse to falter against criminal threats. Thank you." He said, and walked away with no room for questions.

Hungary accepts the surrender. All Croatian government officials have been removed from office. Croatia is now an official protectorate and country of Hungary.
