As the large drone 737 airliner neared the Bosnian airspace which was lined with SAM missiles, the cases of trinitrotulene on board armed themselves, and within a matter of seconds exploded directly over the country side. The wreckage landed along the border, and although it was pilot-less, the drone had done its part. A justification of an invasion of Bosnia and Herzegovina was now in full effect, and the UBR had the Balkans by its finger tips. Before any investigation could begin, Balkan newspapers published the large headline, claiming that 130 people had died in the horrific attack. Balkan crews already had removed the wreckage to prove that the airliner was in fact a drone, and now the entire Hungarian military was beginning to mobilize along the Croat-Bosnian border.

OOC: I couldn't find much, so most of this will be my estimates.
IC: the UBR's mobilization came as a complete supprise to Bosnia. An eye for an eye, thought the Bosnian military leadership, as all 80,000 combat troops in the Bosnian Army were mobilized and sent to the border.
Meanwhile, around the nation, propaganda about the UBR being a power-hungry conquering force was spread. In a matter of a few days, the country was as united against the UBR as it had ever been united over anything.

Almost hidden from families as a "cleansing of lesser races", the UBR military mobilized with effective force and began to cross the border. The newly created F-01 Partridge Fighter and B-01 Thunder would prove to be beyond use in the coming operation, as it boasted the latest in stealth technology and the pride that was the EBA alliance. The befuddled Bosnians took up arms. They knew they were outnumbered, outrained, and outequipped. However, they fortified themselves in the mountains and buildings in the area and stuck it out.
When the Army of the UBR began its "Phase 1" of its invasion, both of their Army Groups were met with a hell storm of bullets, artillerry shells, and the like. Bosnia would not go quietly.
Back in the capital, civilians were being handed weapons and being trained in gunworking (fireing, loading and reloading, repairing, ect.)

Casualties:
Army Group A - - - - - - - - - - 1st Infantry - 2 Casualties 2nd Infantry - 1 Casualty 1st Mechanized - 3 Casualties
Army Group B - - - - - - - - - - 3rd Infantry - 1 Casualty 4th Infantry - 2 Casualties 2nd Mountain - 1 Casualty
Although the casualties were relatively low, the UBR were astonished by the firepower the Bosnians put out. Within minutes, however, the air superiority of the Balkan Republic came into play. The B-01 Thunder from Army Group B, capable of delivering 106 bombs for carpet bombing, arrived in the area of operations for both army groups. Stacked from 7,000 to 35,000 feet, the B-01s skillfully avoided radar detection and delivered their bombs on the Bosnians with devestating accuracy.
In Sarajevo, the 6th and 7th Fighter Wings scrambled their F-01 Partridges into the air, armed with air-to-ground payloads. Carrying UBR-PGB-1 Precision Guided Bombs, they used RADAR uplinks from the ground and began to drop them with outstanding accuracy on the Bosnian soldiers.
On the front, the 1st Air Cavalry division was beginning to move behind the main lines of fighting to silence the Bosnian artillery. The artillery from the 1st and 2nd Artillery divisions were firing their ART-1 Unicorn artillery pieces with accurate coordination from forces on the ground, maintaining a high rate of fire.
All divisions were now beginning to move toward the main line of fighting, and were confident of reaching Sarajevo within days. With the Balkan supremacy in the air, their astonishing firepower, armor superiority and well trained soldiers, Bosnia could not stand against the might of the UBR.

The joy that ran through the hearts of the frontline Bosnian soldiers when they opened fired on the sitting UBR ducks was short lived. Maybe 30 seconds after the Bosnians assulted the UBR, bombs fell on both of the Bosnian Army positions, killing thousands.
Bosnian artilerry, defenseless, was completely incapacitated nu the UBR.
By the end of the day, all but about 12,500 combat troops had been killed. The survivors, found themselves in territory now controled by the UBR, and were trying to sneak back to the capital.
Sarajevo was being fortified. By now, every civlilian in Bosnia who wished to fight the UBR had arrived in Sarajevo and had been given a weapon. In total, civilians and Bosnian troops, nearly 250,000 Bosnian "Ground Troops" were ready to stand against the UBR.
As for AA Defenses and Air Support, the entire Bosnian Air Force had been stationed in Sarajevo AFB or in the Sarajevo Airport.

The air superiority in the occupied UBR territory inside of Bosnia was now streaming, their bombing becoming remarkably effective. Throughout the smoke of the wrecked Bosnian artillery, the 1st Cavalry held a large perimeter around Sarajevo. Adjusting for casualties, each division apart of the invasion now began to help the 1st Cavalry surround the city.
After a week of starvation and hunger, the Sarajevo people began to feel the fist of Operation Asphalt - the first major organized military operation in the UBR's history. ART-1 155mm Unicorn Guns from the 1st and 2nd Artillery division, 120mm rifled cannons from T-84 MBTs in the 4th Armored Division, and a combined air force of 300 fighters, 200 of which were stealth, were capable of delivering 4 precision guided bombs each. 100 B-01 stealth bombers capable of delivering 106 bombs for carpet bombing, and 100 Su-22 attacker aircraft capable of delivering up to 4 long range air-to-surface missiles were all ready for the call to bombard the Sarajevans into submission.
General Aero Idalo sent a passionate plea for the Bosnians to surrender, but it was destroyed on sight by Idalo himself. The lesser races must be exterminated, he thought, and so began Operation Asphalt. Although the fighting for the soldiers would be in a large pile of rubble, the combined bombardment force was sure to make a large dent in Sarajevan defenses, hoping to cause less casualties in the Balkanic ranks.

The order was given to Bosnia as a whole to die fighting. The Bosnian leaders had heard of this plea of surrender, and read it to the Bosnian people... After changing some words, that is. Men in the high-rises of Sarajevo began to fire their bazookas in a desprate attempt to hold the UBR back. Every fixed-wing aircraft in the city took off and began a massive, desprate last strike against the UBR's beseiging forces.
Although they fought valliantly, the Bosnians knew it would be over soon.

As F-01 fighters soared over the city, they completely decimated any will of Sarajevan fighters to even challenge Balkanic air superiority. As of yet, the F-01 had not been shot down due to its stealth capabilities, superior mobility and armament, and the B-01 was well above any technology any Bosnian military genius could muster together.
However, 3 T-80 MBTs were lost to some short range Bosnian "bazooka" fire, but the Balkanic forces questioned what motives the Bosnians used to fire 60 year old anti-tank weapons that were imprevious to any main battle tanks.
The 1st Guards, 1st Mechanized, 1st and 2nd Infantry, 2nd Mountain, and 3rd and 4th Infantry all converged on Sarajevo, each soldier holding 20 papers demanding Bosnian surrender that were distributed amongst the populace.

The Bosnian planes engaged in a "dog fight" with the UBR's Air Force, even though it was more like the Bosnians flying in circles while they were shot and laughed at.
As the UBR entered the capital, most of those who recived papers, including the Bosnian command, threw down their weapons and surrendered.
The war was now officially over, even though there were stilla few thousand rebels resisting the occupation in the city. However, by the end of the day, all resistance would be quelled, and Bosnia would be completely broken and defeated.

By Mid-March, Bosnia had been forced into surrender. The two week long campaign had cost roughly 50 Balkanic lives, where the Bosnian losses totalled in the thousands. This was the UBR's attitude towards this unification of their peninsula - and the same tale that was just shown would be retold throughout every country.
