With most of the Middle-east already incorporated into the Islamic Republic, Phase III would be a tad overkill. The Republic wanted to continue their expansion, leaving Syria to be targeted next. A quick victory was in mind, with little damage wanting to be done to Syria.

OOC: Well, despite my best intentions, I just don't have time for CiF. I thought I would, but I have other commitments that must take priority. It's a good RP for the most part, but I just don't have the time needed to make a good go of it.

Global Islamic Republic can have Syria. Although I do find it a bit much that a new player can have this thrown at them less than a day after joining and before they can post up their military stats.

With no blood spilled, the Islamic Republic declares Syria as a new province of the Republic. Military forces cease their operations and move to their previous positions, only leaving behind a few garrison forces.
