Islamic Invasion of Lebannon

With Syria in the firm grasp of the Islamic people, a small Liberation group is sent south to 'persuade' the Arab people of Lebanon to join the republic.

Surprised by the sheer amount of Iranian equipment and hardware, Lebanon is willing to negotiate a surrender.

Yet, below the Earth, terrorist organizations began to plot and scheme - to make the Iranian occupation like an occupation of Iraq to the United States.

As a convoy of 1st Mechanized Infantry soldiers approached them, the guerilla fighters stood up from their large brush undercovers and fired their Carl Gustav rocket launchers. They followed behind with machine gun fire, then retreated across the plains to their underground labyrinths. It would be an occupation the GIR would regret.

The GIR accepts the surrender of Lebanon, incorporating it as yet another Province of the Republic.

In response to what is being called 'senseless terrorist attacks', the Republic officials remind the terrorist cells that they recognize their position in Lebanon, and will continue their support for them against the Western World. Those who continue to rebel against the 'Noble Republic' will be dealt with. The 1st Iraqi Republican Special Guard has been called in, trained for anti-terrorist purposes, and to hunt down those rebelling.
