TO: The Kingdom of Denmark

SUBJECT: A matter to be discussed.
I will not bother with the formalities. Put simply, the Glorious German Empire is always looking to expand it's empire, and we will do this one way or another. We've had our eyes on Denmark for quite awhile, and we'd rather have a peaceful addition than a bloody one. So, we propose that the Kingdom of Denmark become a protectorate of the German Empire.
Terms of becoming a Protectorate of the Reich and Guidelines.
You shall be granted full political autonomy, but you must swear allegiance to the Reich.
Should the Kingdom of Denmark be threatened, the Reich will be threatened, and will act accordingly.
All territorial gains that Denmark makes, whether through conquest, diplomacy, etc, shall be considered part of the German Reich. Denmark will only be allowed to make territorial expansions with the consent of the Reich and its officials.
Denmark will accept the "mark" as it's currency.
The Reich is allowed full use of all Dannish facilities and industry for it's benefit.
The Dannish Army is to be re-trained through more effective German field tactics, but will not be considered part of the Reich's Army.
Denmark is not obligated to aid the Reich in further conquest, but is required to assist the Reich in the event of a foreign invasion.
5% of all Dannish profits will be used for the benefit of the Reich.
Denmark is subject to all German law, but can keep it's own unless it is in open contradiction to existing German laws.
Denmark will recieve all the benefits Reich territory enjoys: Protection from outside forces, little poverty, employment, and a bolstering economy.
The Dannish do not share current Reich technology unless the Reich permits it's use.
End Terms
The choice, of course, is yours. Should you reject this reasonable treaty, I am not certain what the Kanzler would do. Most likely, we would invade and take you by force, annexing your country to the German Empire. You would not enjoy any of the rights guaranteed above, so I plead that you take this to heart. If you have any qualms about the above, I'm sure they are within negotiable bounds. Failure to reply to this document within five weeks(Five days real time)will result in a hostile take over. I sincerely hope we can come to an agreement without spilling blood.
