Supreme Leader Ayatollah made an announcement, only a day after the remarkable success in Iraq. "The fighting in Iraq is over. Those who wish to stand against our united Republic will quickly be dealt with. Less of them stand each day, and in a week or two, we will have the entire region under control" Ayatollah proclaimed. "Hence, I declare the sovereignty of our two nations to be the Global Islamic Republic. We encourage those around us to join us in this noble up taking! This is our only way to stand against the barbaric might of the world!"
Military forces in Iraq have joined Iran, although the majority of which will have to be retrained in Iran. The provincial capitol of Iraq has been moved to Karbala as the city of Baghdad is rebuilt.
