France announced today that it will be creating the European Defense League. The European Defense Leagure will be open to all European nations but will have to pass approval from the three permanent members
Article I
Leadership - In order to effictively represent Europe and ensure no one nation has a Monopoly on the Orginization a Council of five Should Convene to make decisions for the entirety of EDL. Each Councilmember is elected except for the Three Permanet seats of France, United Kingdom and Sweden.
Article II
Direction - The Direction of the Orginization should be to further protect the Western European people's and make entirely sure that even problems that occur outside of Western Europe can be responded to with the European Defense Leagure. By doing so we will greatly enhance the influence of the Western European nations while protecting them from harm.
Article III
Military - All Nations should contribute an amount of soldiers in their respective militaries to be commanded by the EDL Supreme Commander. Aircraft, Soldiers, Vehicles and Weapons should be contributed from all parties. The Military can be called to operate anywhere in the world but should primarily be used for the Defense of Western Europe or Nations whom soveriegnty is being threatened.
Article IV
Weapons and Weapons Research - Should be conducted by all nations. All member nations should also agree to sell their existing weapons to those whom wish to buy and create consistent Research Partnerships.
The Nations listed below may also contribute new articles and change of the already proposed ones. Once those whom are interested respond a Conference in Paris shall be held to further discuss the possibilities of such an alliance.
